The Republic of Fiji Military Forces Women’s Rugby Team is gearing up to compete against military teams worldwide at the 2025 International Defence Rugby Cup (IDRC) in the United Kingdom.
High Commissioner Peter Roberts warmly farewelled the 35-member squad during a special reception, which also celebrated the strong ties fostered through the Fiji–Australia Defence Cooperation Program.
Australia, alongside the New Zealand High Commission in Suva and the UK, proudly supports Fiji’s participation in this prestigious international sporting event, underscoring the enduring partnerships within the Pacific defence community.
