Papua New Guinean IT specialist Henly Kale Dopo has been named a 2025 Chevening Scholar, earning the opportunity to pursue a Master of Science in Cyber Security, Threat Intelligence and Forensics at the University of Salford in Manchester.
With cyber threats escalating worldwide, Henly aims to acquire advanced skills to protect Papua New Guinea’s digital infrastructure and contribute to building a safer, more secure national cyberspace.
“Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall,” Henly said, offering encouragement to future Chevening applicants to pursue their passions and leadership potential.
The Chevening Scholarship Programme, funded by the UK Government, supports outstanding emerging leaders from around the world, providing access to world-class education and networks to drive positive change in their home countries. Applications for the 2026–2027 cohort are now open.
