Australian charity organization PNG Angels on their 8th Mission to Port Moresby General Hospital 

Port Moresby General Hospital is once again privileged to host one of its valued partners, the PNG Angels, who are in the country on their eighth surgical mission.

The PNG Angels team who arrived on Monday 17th March, include its founder and director, the highly skilled neurosurgeon Dr. Marc Coughlan, assistant surgeon Dr. Luke Timmermans, paediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Saeed Kohan, specialist anaesthetist Dr. Saira Hussain, registered nurses Asha Ajaykumar, Samantha Brown, Lisa Copp, Hannah Almady and Melissa Millar, medical student Summer Leonard and directors Susannah Hales and Yvette Mobbs. 

To kick off the mission, the PNG Angels and hospital staff performed a number of neurological and spinal surgical operations yesterday (Tuesday, 18 March).

Welcome PNG Angels and we thank you for volunteering your invaluable expertise, dedication and time to help our patients and train our staff here at Port Moresby General Hospital.
