Two new MPs sworn into Papua New Guinea’s Parliament

 

The Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Job Pomat, CMG, MP, has presided over the swearing-in of two new Members of Parliament: Hon. Anderson Mise, MP, representing Aitape–Lumi Open, and Hon. Gidron Maso Karipe, MP, representing Porgera–Paiela.

The ceremony, held in Parliament today, was attended by Prime Minister Hon. James Marape, MP, Minister for State-Owned Enterprises Hon. William Duma, MP, the Clerk of Parliament, Kala Aufa, as well as distinguished guests, family members and members of the MPs’ campaign teams.
