The Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG) today presented its formal position to the Moderator overseeing the Bougainville Peace Agreement implementation process.
The delegation was led by ABG President H.E. Ishmael Toroama, accompanied by Vice President Hon. Patrick Nisira and Attorney General and Minister for Bougainville Independence Mission Implementation, Hon. Ezekiel Masatt.
In a significant show of unity and continuity in leadership, former Bougainville President and statesman Grand Chief Dr. John Momis joined the delegation in support of Bougainville’s position.
The presentation underscores Bougainville’s commitment to a peaceful, structured, and dignified pathway toward implementing the outcomes of the 2019 independence referendum.
